Visa Information
At the present time, nationals of the United States and Canada need only a valid passport and a return or onward journey ticket for entry into Peru. A visa is not required. A Tourist Card is issued on arrival in Lima and this is valid for a 90 day stay in the country. Please note that if you intend to travel to Peru via the USA you must have a machine readable passport. Even if you are merely in transit through a US airport you will not be allowed to travel if you do not have a machine readable passport.
