There
was an action-packed programme of activities which provided everyone with new
and exciting experiences. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the
food was typically regional and beautifully presented.
This
was an ideal family adventure holiday, with a varied and lively programme of
activities, which provided us all (aged 8 to nearly 70) with new and exciting
experiences.
We
loved venturing out into the vast Arctic winterland on snowmobiles, fishing
through holes in the thick ice on a lake, hurtling along the forest tracks on
husky-drawn sleighs (everyone's favourite activity), snow-shoeing at night and
again in the daytime for a forest picnic (our optional add-on for the last day),
learning about the Sami way of life from a reindeer herder, visiting the famous
Ice Hotel - well, everything!
