Rich in history, Turkey's Mediterranean coast provides a beautiful backdrop to this action-packed multi-activity family holiday. We begin our adventure with the ancient site of Kaunos, mud baths and loggerhead turtles.. Next, we explore the Saklient Canyon, a huge gorge cut out of the mountains high above Fethiye, before finishing off the day with a visit to the Ancient City of Xanthos and the chance of a swim at the amazing Patara Beach. After transferring to Kas, a former fishing village that still retains its charm, we enjoy a sea-kayak expedition - look out for secret coves where we can stop to swim and take lunch! We then get a bird's eye view of the sea from the high mountain village of Gokceoren, as we spend the day walking from Saribelen to the village of Seyrat. The adventure continues with a day of mountain biking on the Kas peninsula - challenging climbs and some big downhills, as we ride a mix of tracks through ancient forest. The grand finale of this exceptional itinerary is a boat trip - from the sea we can fully appreciate the dramatic coastline and reflect on the week's adventures. There'll be the chance to swim and snorkel from the boat and to enjoy a barbecue lunch, before returning to Kas for our farewell dinner in one its laid back restaurants. This is a superb adventure holiday for families with fit and active children of 12 years and above.

With a mix of high-octane activities, this is an adventure holiday for families with older children who want an action-packed week and are happy to learn a range of new skills. Ideal for families who spend a lot of time outdoors, or for those with boundless energy. The itinerary is flexible, in that there is always the option to miss a day's activities and to indulge in a bit of R&R instead. Accommodation will be in simple but comfortable 3 star hotels.
This trip is restricted to children of 12 years and above principally on account of the sea kayaking. Children of this age will also cope well with the 10 kilometre hike on good trails and the straightforward 20 kilometre mountain bike ride, mostly on forest tracks. This trip is at low elevation. Professional guiding, specialist equipment and instruction is provided for each of the activities on offer.
