Arusha, Tanzania - Arusha was a great place to spend a little time before embarking on our safari adventure.

Mt. Kilimanjaro at sunrise - We had an enjoyable couple of nights at Marangu, where we hiked in Mt. Kilimanjaro National Park, and visited the nearby villages. Mt. Kilimanjaro revealed herself on the second morning.

Zebra at Lake Manyara National Park - Our first introduction to safari life was at Lake Manyara National Park, nestled against the slopes of the Great Rift Valley. We spent a lot of time watching the zebra moving across the plains.

Ngorongoro Crater - We headed west to Ngorongoro crater. This was our first view of the massive caldera, which hosts the largest concentration and diversity of African wildlife anywhere on the continent.
