All aspects of the organisation of the trek were excellent. The crew worked extremely hard to make this a really superb trek. I think this holiday exceeded my expectations- this was down to a truly outstanding leader (Rajendra Gurng) and a really hard working and good spirited trek crew. I was highly impressed by the care the trek crew took to ensure we all had a good experience.
I have been on many treks and Rajendra was one of the best leaders I have experienced. His knowledge of Nepal and enthusiasm for birds and wildlife made this trip extremely interesting. Rajendra was an outstanding leader with excellent people skills; he was relaxed, yet showed a high degree of care for our enjoyment.
I enjoyed the varied mountain scenery, every day was different. The camping was more fun than lodges!- Tents put up so efficiently and bags expertly transferred by the porters, really appreciated their efforts. Good medical equipment was reassuring though, thankfully, this was not needed.
Standards of hygiene were exceptionally high i.e. hand washing and alcohol gels before EVERY meal/ drink- this makes all the difference to trekkers health.

I have never been on a trek which was so professionally and pleasantly run. Our trek leader Rabi was a delightful, knowledgeable and competent leader. He always paid scrupulous attention to every detail and was kind, helpful and very discrete. The Sirdar ran his team quietly and efficiently with good humour, which extended to his dealings with the trekkers. We never had to wait for our tents or our bags and his obviously contented staff worked hard, with pride in their work and took great care of our bags. The cook worked wonders under difficult conditions and produced plenty of good wholesome food, catering for our various needs.

I had a great time. Everything was well-organised and our crew were brilliant. Rabi (our guide) was fantastic! I most enjoyed the varied scenery, the excellent Guide, the friendly porters and our after-trip activities - city tour / meals etc.

A well bonded trek group; an understanding leader with a sense of humour, clearly concerned for the well being of the group and support staff. I appreciated being allowed to go ahead at my own pace when necessary. I was usually in the lead but always was given a Sherpa.
I had 4 previous KE Nepalese treks behind me which were all very well organised. I particularly appreciate the "All Meals Included" aspect, which saves time in city restaurants.

I think the KE website is the best website of all the trek companies i looked into. I think the accuracy and professional nature of the website encourages confidence in KE.
The trek crew were amazing and it really was 5 star camping! The food was amazing although there was sometimes too much so I hope that the cook was not offended when we couldn't eat much (especially with reduced appetites at altitude). The trek route was amazing, incredibly varied and breathtaking every day.
No words can describe how brilliant Ravi (our guide) was. His knowledge of the local nature and animals was excellent. His patience and calm, confident approach inspired me to continue when I was unwell and worried about carrying on. If it had been another leader that didn't inspire such confidence I'm not sure I would have!

I trekked last year with KE, "Mount Toubkal" and I had trekked with some other companies before. It's a very big difference when comparing. My two treks with KE have been wonderful.

This was a trip of a lifetime the only problem I had was some altitude sickness, but I was expertly cared for by our trip leader. The whole trek was amazing, varied and beautiful scenery. The flight from Langtang to Kathmandu was breath-taking - a wonderful end to the trek.

Thank you for a fantastic holiday. Office and admin staff extremely helpful and put up with some of my inane questions! I particularly enjoyed the pace of the trip - there were enough guides/sherpas to ensure that each person could go at their own pace without slowing up the group. Ravi, the guide, was particularly knowledgeable about the birds and wildlife, which enhanced my enjoyment and he also took time to tell us the names of the mountains and different villages. It exceeded my expectations due to the quality of the guide and support staff and the way everything operated very smoothly. I also liked the fact that all the food was included even at the hotel and that we did not have to pay extra for the excursions or transfer to and from the airport.

We chose KE again because of the very helpful pre-trip info and help from the office staff at all times. My partner had to be evacuated from the trek due to illness, the care and support from Ravi, Dineh and Kim Sang (the local guide and sherpas) was incredible. We cannot fault the teamwork and procedures which KE had in place to help my partner and myself to a good medical centre, so smoothly and safely. Thank you all.

Your staff at KE HQ were very helpful & informative. Food was FIRST CLASS especially considering how far away we were from civilisation. Nothing was too much trouble. We both ENJOY the camping side of the trip.... better than staying at tea houses...............closer to nature!!! Rabi was an EXCELLENT guy.... informative, helpful, courteous, & knowledgable.......No problems at all. The Himalayas are the HIGHLIGHT of course....superb scenery is exhilarating. We ENJOY camping..... food ....The challenge to our bodies ... is a personal test which makes us FEEL GOOD. The great outdoors at its VERY BEST!!! My 3rd KE trip DEFINITELY lived up to my expectations. For Sheila her first but she is raring to go again!!
