Kangchenjunga

I most enjoyed the company which was most convivial; the scenery was unbelievable; the fact that the region was so little visited added enormously to the enjoyment; our leader did an excellent job.

The support crew crew could not have been better - efficent, caring, thoughtful and fun. Sarah (trek leader) was great in every way. I had to leave the trek because of a problem with my knee and Sarah helped and guided me to making the right decision. She was the perfect balance professional, fun, and she had great relationships with the crew and the trekkers.

Very impressed by local arrangements and crew who were unfailingly helpful, polite courteous and hard working. Due to the Sept earthquake we had to take a day and a half's bus ride instead of a 30 minute flight to Taplejung, and all the rearrangements went very smoothly, including securing the services of an excellent bus driver. We most enjoyed: The walking, particularly the early and late stages through farmland and past habitation, and the very high days with the amazing views. The way the group got on well together and enjoyed our evenings in the mess tent - when we weren't so tired we went straight to bed after dinner!Plentiful good food

Our trek leader, Neil West, had a great sense of humour and one of the best trek leaders I've every had - certainly the best KE trek leader I've had.
