Best. Holiday. Ever. I know I always come back from a trip thinking this, but this one really was the trip of a lifetime. I did have some pretty huge expectations, but it was even more fantastic than that. Would totally recommend blagging 4 weeks off work and doing this trip!
Every day was different, the scenery kept changing, we got amazing views all the time. Always so much to look at. We stopped at some great campsites - often views from the tent door meant you could take sunset shots of the mountains without even needing to get out of your sleeping bag. Some really jaw-dropping moments, like the views from each "La" on the pass-crossing day. Plenty of time for sunbathing and taking it all in. Huge amounts of tasty food.
I think we were extremely lucky with perfect weather, a lovely group of people, great guide and crew.

All worked like clockwork, thanks to Ben and Mindu, the Sirdar. We couldn't have asked for a better leader in all respects, experienced, with a wealth of tales to tell and who made great efforts to include everybody in the group. Someone who I'm sure could be trusted to deal with any crisis. Fortunately our trip had none and the weather was extremely kind.
We'd recommend KE to anybody and others in our group had used KE several times before. We'll certainly be looking to use KE again, the only problem is, which trip? We had no health problems and loved the whole experience!

I most enjoyed the company which was most convivial. The scenery was unbelievable. The fact that the region was so little visited added enormously to the enjoyment. Our leader did an excellent job.

The support crew crew could not have been better - efficent, caring, thoughtful and fun. Sarah (trek leader) was great in every way. I had to leave the trek because of a problem with my knee and Sarah helped and guided me to making the right decision. She was the perfect balance professional, fun, and she had great relationships with the crew and the trekkers.

Very impressed by local arrangements and crew who were unfailingly helpful, polite courteous and hard working. Due to the Sept earthquake we had to take a day and a half's bus ride instead of a 30 minute flight to Taplejung, and all the rearrangements went very smoothly, including securing the services of an excellent bus driver. We most enjoyed: The walking, particularly the early and late stages through farmland and past habitation, and the very high days with the amazing views. The way the group got on well together and enjoyed our evenings in the mess tent - when we weren't so tired we went straight to bed after dinner!Plentiful good food

Our trek leader, Neil West, had a great sense of humour and one of the best trek leaders I've every had - certainly the best KE trek leader I've had.

I would like to point out how fantastic it was to be allowed to walk at our own pace! We were treated like experienced trekkers and I am very grateful for that. Me and my husband enjoyed ourselves greatly!!
Ben was FANTASTIC!!!! We couldn't ask for a better team leader, always happy, patient, ready to help, we simply felt very safe with him in the mountains.
Most enjoyed - Remoteness of the region, Himalayan views, good mixture of full walking days with half days, getting to the highest point, great company and excellent team leader - Ben. Also Mindu (local guide) was absolutely fantastic!
