You will require a valid passport and a visa to enter Madagascar. Please note that your passport must have a minimum of 6 months remaining validity at the time of your trip.
UK, USA, Australian, Canada and other EU passport holders do require a visa for Madagascar. The easiest way to obtain this is on arrival at Antananarivo Airport in Madagascar. There is no charge if obtaining the visa on arrival. This visa is valid for 30 days.
The Embassy in London, UK has now closed and no visas can be obtained here. Embassys in countries other than the UK, may still be able to issue visas prior to departure, please contact your countries Madagascar Embassy if you wish to do this.
