Visa Information
All nationalities require a passport (with a minimum of 6 months remaining validity at the time of your trip) plus a current Double Entry Visa for Kirghizstan and a current Single Entry visa for China. You should make your application for the Kirghizstan visa first. Please allow enough time to process both visas. The letter of invitation from Kirghizstan is NOT required for Tourist visas up to 30 days stay from passport holders of the following countries:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA.
Passport holders of other countries should contact KE before making their visa application.
UK Passport Holders
KIRGHIZSTAN VISA
The current cost for a tourist visa valid for 30 days stay is £50. Please note that you MUST make your initial Kirghizstan visa application ONLINE. Applications can be made at http://www.kyrgyz-embassy.org.uk. Or alternatively through a visa processing company such as Travcour. (www.travcour.com)
Once the application has been made you will need to print out the completed form so please ensure that your computer is connected to a printer before starting the process.
When filling in the form, for ‘date of entry’ please use day 1 of your trip itinerary. For ‘date of exit’ please use the final day of your trip itinerary. The section detailing the ‘inviting party’ is not relevant and you are not required to complete this section.. Once you have submitted the form online you should print it and send this along with your KE itinerary, your passport, 2 passport photographs, and the fee (can be paid by cheque or bank transfer) to the address on the visa application form or your chosen visa processing company. We recommend that you send your documents by Royal Mail special delivery. You should also include a pre-paid special delivery envelope (500 grams) for the return of your passport. Visa processing normally takes 3 days but allow plenty of time for delays.
CHINA VISA
The cost of a Chinese Visa for UK citizens is £30. There are 2 ways to get your visa. There will be an administrative charge in addition to the £30 visa cost for each of these:
1. You can ask a visa processing company such as Travcour to handle your application. Contact Travcour on 020 7223 5295 or visit their website at travcour.com

Your application needs to be supported by details of your flight and travel confirmation letters which KE will provide.
US Passport Holders
KIRGHIZSTAN VISA
The current cost for a single entry tourist visa valid for 30 days stay is US$100. Kirghizstan visa application forms can be obtained from the consular section of the Kirghiz embassy website at kgembassy.org. You should complete the form using the following guidelines:
For ‘purpose of visit’ tick ‘pleasure’
Under ‘Contact organization or private host in Kirghizstan’ write ‘N/A’,
For ‘Intended duration’, the ‘From’ date is day 1 of your trip itinerary and the ‘Until’ date is the final day of your itinerary.
For ‘Specific purpose of visit’, write ‘organized tour with KE Adventure Travel’
For ‘Type of visa’ please tick ‘Single Entry’ and ‘Tourist’.
Please send the completed form along with your payment, your passport and 2 passport photographs to the Kirghizstan Embassy address on the Visa form. Payment must be by money order made out to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic. You should include a pre-paid, self addressed envelope. You are responsible for the safe delivery and return of your passport.
China Visa

How to apply in brief.
You will need to fill out an application form and include a single passport photograph and the visa fee - which is currently $130. Submit the application in person to the Visa Office of the Embassy or Consulate-General which holds consular jurisdiction over the state where you reside. Note that you can also get a visa processing company to drop off your application for you. No appointment is required. Mailed applications are not acceptable and will be returned. Mail back service is available (make sure you read INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION MAIL SERVICE).The regular processing time is 4 working days. Express service: 2-3 working days processing, additional fee of $20 will be charged per visa. Same day rush service :emergency only, additional fee of $30 will be charged per visa (applications should be submitted before 12:30pm, and may be picked up between 2:30pm-3:00pm on the same day)
