Wonderful trip. Very well organised, well paced, nothing was overlooked, and to cap it all, the weather was superb. Great Great Great!!!
Everything went well, and other than achieving the summit, which was the obvious highlight, it was an all-round great trip.
Brilliant holiday. Ade is a really good leader, he keeps everything running smoothly, and joins in the group banter easily. All in all a brilliant and unforgettable trip. Many many thanks.

Everything as good as, if not better than you can wish for. Contact with office staff excellent. Hotel in Kathmandu fantastic. Support crew (porter, kitchen staff, chef & sherpas) did fantastic job to help us. Could not have asked for more.
Amazing trip leader (Ade Summers). He really cared that everybody in the group was well and tried very hard to keep everyone happy. He also told us a lot of local customs, anecdotes of other trips, etc. It was always very entertaining to be around him.
Trip cannot be improved. Everything was perfect.

We both loved the holiday. We both had a fantastic time and would love to go back to the area again - so many other places to see. Really enjoyed the countryside and the views whilst in the mountains. We thought the time for acclimatisation was better than other companies. We have travelled with you before (Ecuador in 2009) and felt you provided good service.

This was an experience of a lifetime during which I learnt so much about Nepal but also about myself. I'm already thinking about my next trip.
There are so many high point, but I guess the biggest highlight would have to be hitting the summit of Mera Peak in near perfect weather conditions. Also the team spirit of the rest of the group.

Jose was the perfect trip leader. Very experienced and knowledgeable and with the correct balance of keeping us organised, safe and to schedule with charm and an easy going friendly attitude. His mountain skills saved the fingers of a badly frostbited climber in another group and another with a potential Celebral Edema. You differently need Jose if you are going high up in the mountains!

Mind blowing trip..far more than i thought it would be...hard but rewarding. The porters, cooks, sherpas were excellent couldn`t have asked for better support. Mark Scales was a brilliant leader, and certainly helped me over the length of the trek, always there when needed.Stunning scenery...good banter from an excellant group on trek..the group really gelled after only one day..variety of ages so always a different subject of personal exeriences to talk about...

The tents were all you would hope for on an extreme trek and the food produced by the cook and his team was nothing short of amazing. That also goes for the whole support team. From the moment we arrived in Katmandhu till the moment we left the efficiency and support was first class. The holiday constantly challenged me, often out of my 'comfort zone', but the sense of achievement in the most wonderful enviroment was a feeling never to be forgotten

Tom Richardson is by far the best trip leader I have ever come across and I have seen a few. He has the right blend of all the skills that are required to do what is a far harder job than most people imagine. He clearly wanted us to have the best trip possible and went the extra mile to make that happen, and at the end of the day he calmly saved someones life by making the right decisions.

Before leaving on this trip I had drawn up a list of objectives. I achieved them all in large part due to the good organisation. I had a minor stomach upset early on but that was the total of ill health problems. Most enjoyable was the scenery, the word awesome was invented for the Himalayas surely, and rising to the challenge of high altitdue glacier walking.

The cook and cook staff were outstanding! The food was excellent! There was a great variety of food, even for vegetarians, and plenty of it. As a non-coffee or tea drinker, I appreciated the hot chocolate. The cook even baked a cake to celebrate our summit! Nobody got sick from food or water. The Sherpas were extremely helpful and dedicated. They, along with the porters, made it possible for us to successfully summit the peak and complete the trek safely. The acclimatization program is excellent and it worked.

I enjoyed all aspects of the trip - the challenging physical element of the trip, learning about climbing at high altitudes, meeting other like-minded people and the unique opportunity to try something new and do something different. Many people 'do' Kili or Everest Base Camp so Mera Peak was a great opportunity to do something even more challenging and a bit unusual and off the beaten path.

When we first booked with KE I was a little concerned, not because of KE as I had heard many good reports before, but I like nothing more than to disappear on my own or with a couple of mates to the wilderness of Scotland, but I have only been home a week and I have already been looking through the KE brochure for our next trip of a lifetime, I have been dreaming of trekking in the Himalayas since I was nine years old so I was always going to enjoy it, but KE Adventure and all its staff that we came into contact with made it that bit more special. Thanks

My whole experience was a positive one through the booking process to the organisation of flights and meeting the people involved in Nepal, everyone was positive and helpful - a first rate and a superb service.
During the trek from Lukla out towards Mera Peak I became unwell. The decision for me to return to Lukla was made and again the organisation was done with no fuss, I returned to Lukla where the local agent representative met me and organised my flight back to Kathmandu that afternoon. KE Adventure Travel then very quickly re-arranged my flights home. I can only say good things happened in the background to get me off the mountain and home safely and in a timely manner, it was good to know the back room support and concern for my wellbeing was focused in all the right areas.

Ade Summers was an excellent leader he did a lot more than was expected from him. He joined in with the group but took charge when needed. There were other expeditions about with no direction or professional leadership we felt lucky to have Ade in charge.
A good all round group of people. We all got on well together.
Travelled with you before and always been happy. Will be using you again.
