Holiday Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel in Casablanca. Complimentary airport transfers are provided for clients arriving on this day. KE group package services begin with the evening meal, overnight hotel.
Day 2: Our holiday begins by transferring (2hrs) to the Moorish city of Meknes and the Roman ruins at Volubilis. In the afternoon we have a sightseeing tour of the ancient Islamic city of Fes. Check into the hotel in Fes for overnight.
Day 3: Our journey through Morocco begins with a drive into the Middle Atlas. Enroute we have a 4 to 5 hour walk beside the beautiful and peaceful Lake Dayet. We arrive later at Midelt where we overnight.
Day 4: Today we cross the eastern part of the High Altas, over the pass at Tizi n'Talghoumte. We stop here for a short walk to Tamsahalte before continuing onto Merzouga where we overnight.
Day 5: Now at the edge of the Sahara desert we walk for 4 to 5 hours across the dunes at Erg Chebbi to our overnight fixed camping site in the sands. Overnight camp.
Day 6: Leaving our desert camp behind we drive to Tinerhir where we stop for a visit before continuing to the famous Todra Gorge. We have an exploratory walk through the gorge to admire its sheer walls before finding our hotel in Todra.
Day 7: Leaving the spectauclar Todra Gorge behind us we travel to Quelaa des M'Gouna and the lush, palm filled, Valley of Dades where we overnight.
Day 8: This morning we visit the palm groves at Skoura. We then drive to the fantastic 'filmset' kasbah at Ait Benhadou, and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 9: Travelling north-west today in the direction of Taroudant we stop off for a relaxed walk in the Taliouine Valley before arriving in the bustling small town Taroudant with its colourful souks. Overnight Taroudant.
Day 10: Today we drive south into the Anti Atlas. We stretch our legs with a walk at Aguerd Oudad before driving to Tafraoute with it's distinct red rocks. Overnight Tafraoute.
Day 11: Making our way west we reach the Atlantic coast at Tiznit. We follow the coastline with its sandy beach north to reach the village of Immouzer, where we overnight.
Day 12: Continuing north today we stop at the Atlantic for a wild coastal walk. We then travel to Essaouira, famous for its delicious fresh fish and pottery. Overnight Essaouira.
Day 13: We have the morning free in Essaouira and then we travel the 2 hours through to the bustling city of Marrakech. Overnight Marrakech.
Day 14: We have a free day in Marrakech. We can explore the famous Djemaa-el-Fna and souks or relax at the hotel. Evening meal and overnight in Marrakech.
Day 15: KE group package services end after breakfast. Complimentary airport transfers are provided for clients departing this day.
