Fantastic trip with brilliant support from all the crew. Pace was prefect food was delicious. Peter (the guide) was fantastic, his advice and level of English was superb, we had a wide range of ages in our group and no-one had a bad word to say about the was he ran his crew as well as us. I think without his leadership not all 9 of us would have made the summits. The warmth you felt from the whole crew, made you feel very welcome.
Brilliant holiday that I would fully reccomend to friends and family.

I confess I was nervous as I was a Solo traveller, but overall had a fantastic time. The group was six strong including me and we all got on almost immediately. If I had not have climbed Mount Meru first I would have not been successful in getting to Kilimanjaro Summit. Food, organisation, trek leaders etc were all just fantastic. Donít under estimate the effort needed to complete the challenge, but put the work in and the rewards are out of this world. A trip of a lifetime, oh yes! †

I was happy with all information available before the trip and the speed, helpfulness and effectiveness of the KE staff was first rate. There was a feeling that all guides, chefs, porters, drivers etc were 100% happy to help us and each other wherever possible. Some of the other teams on Kilimanjaro looked less cohesive. Our lead guide, Peter Kisimbo, provided fantastic service, enthusiasm and care throughout. There was a real benefit in having such a knowledgeable and diligent local guide. He provided the ideal environment for all of our group to summit both mountains succesfully. He cant be praised enough. Also the fact that none of the 7 people on the trip became ill over the 12 days trekking is impressive and testament to the chef. Also the water filtration pump used to ensure our drinking water was clean played a big part in this.I also anticipated having more trouble with the altitude, but the extensive efforts that were made to ensure we could all acclimatise properly fully paid off.

The lodges and the camping were great and also the program was totally designed for success on the climb...very well done.

Onex demonstrated his care not only for his clients but for his whole team when a young porter fell sick with altitude sickness he immediately organised his descent accompanied by a guide and a porter. The 100% success rate on both Meru and Kilimanjaro I believe was achieved because of the care and support we received from Onex, his assistant guides and the whole team.

We particularly enjoyed the company of our travelling companions, we may have made friends for life on this trip. We delighted in the guides and trek crew, all cheerful, friendly, entertaining, patient and hard working. The scenery was magnificent and strange, the flora very interesting. The food was delicious, plentiful and appetising. Apart from the two summit nights the trekking was leisurely and not too strenuous. It was a joy. We went to Zanzibar after the trek and that was out of this world! We did not want to come home. We never thought another holiday would surpass our experiences on The Inca Trail and Beyond, but this trip did. It was like several holidays in one. It was amazing. A wonderful holiday, we enjoyed every minute.
