All nationalities will need a visa for entry into China and this visa must be obtained ahead of your trip. You will need a passport with at least 6 months remaining validity.
Your application needs to be supported by flight and travel confirmation documents. Your booking confirmation and itinerary from KE will be your travel confirmation for this purpose.
UK Passport Holders
There are 2 ways to obtain your visa.
1) You can make your application through the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC), Morley House, 26 Holborn Viaduct London, EC1A 2AT. Tel: 0207 842 0960 email: UKCENTRE@visaforchina.org, website: visaforchina.org.uk. In addition to the visa fee of £30 there is handling fee of £66, so a total of £96.
2). You can ask a visa processing company such as Travcour to handle your application. Contact Travcour on 020 7223 5295 or if you visit their website at travcour.com, you can select your holiday directly from a drop-down menu and they will do the rest. Travcour will handle the application to the CVASC for you. The cost of the service is £37.50 which is paid in addition to the visa/handling fee of £96.
USA Passport Holders
China has an Embassy in Washington D.C., and consulates-general in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Houston. You should apply to the relevant embassy or consulate-general for your state. Please note that postal applications are NOT accepted. You must apply in person or through a visa processing service.
