Holiday Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous with the group at Palma Airport. A single timed group transfer is provided to the group's hotel accommodation in downtown Palma. This transfer is in the late morning. Afternoon free for independent sightseeing. KE group package services begin with overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: We transfer to Valldemossa and set off walking on a trail overlooking the north coast, taking minimal personal gear for the overnight with us. Great views of Palma Bay and of the peninsula of Na Foradada. After 4 hours we reach Deia and overnight in the newly renovated refuge of Can Boi. Afternoon free to check out the village.
Day 3: Hike to the bay of Cala Deia for a swim. Then, continue along the north coast. After 2 hours, through green oak trees, we arrive at the idyllic hamlet of Lluc Alcari. Then descend in a further 2 hours to Porto Soller, where we check in at a hotel with pool. Afternoon free.
Day 4: Once again, we need to take minimal personal gear for the overnight with us. We take the tramway up to Soller, then set off through the Biniaraix Gorge, ascending on the 'Pilgrim's Path' to the Ofre Pass (1091m) and the mountain lake of Cuber. We reach our overnight stop at the Tossals Verts Refuge after 7 hours of walking.
Day 5: Today, we traverse the Sierra des Teixos by way of the Cases de Neu Pass, to reach Lluc Monastery, which is perched on the mountainside at the central point of the Serra de Tramuntana. We spend 2 nights at the Sanctuary de Lluc, a veritable haven of peace.
Day 6: Today, we climb the most northerly summit of the Serra de Tramuntana, Puig Tomir (1102m). There are great views of the Bay of Pollensa and the Bay of Alcudia. We return to the monastery for a second night after around 6 hours of walking.
Day 7: Another great day-hike, as we complete a circuit via the top of Puig de Massanella (1382m), with the option to take in Puig d'en Galileu (1159m). Returning to the monastery, we transfer back to Palma and our hotel.
Day 8: KE group package services end after breakfast with a single timed early morning group transfer to Palma Airport.
