Highlights - The landscape and exploring a very remote and untouched part of Nepal. The visit to see the King of Mustang was excellent.

Excellent scenery, beautiful colours in the landscape with matching chortens, stupas and gompas. The villages and culture is also very interesting.

I booked hol at EXTREMELY SHORT NOTICE! In fact the day BEFORE !! The help from EVERYONE AT KE was superb. THANKYOU ALL.Mustang is SO SO DIFFERENT from the other places I've visited in Nepal. Dry arid dusty- almost untouched since the 15th Century. Just glad I came in time before it alters. ALAS the influence of The Chinese & the road being built has just started to change it for ever. Delighted that we returned from Lo Mantang via a different route to avoid that new road. SUGGEST you make this a COMPULSORY part of the itinerary in future. Last minute arrangements meant the local agents had togo out of their way to enable me to travel. They did SUPERB JOB. Generous, helpful, willing....nothing was too much travel!
This was my 5th visit to Nepal in the last 6 years with 4 of them with KE. As usual you looked after me superbly. I ALWAYS reccommend you to others. Camping & trekking is by far the BEST way to experience such an amazing country. I loved the smiling people who are so so helpful, trekking away from crowds, roads and the rat race, the personal physical & mental challenge of high altitude trekking & camping, plus seeing how a proud mountain Nation survives against all odds. This region MUST be more Tibetan than Tibet is now.
