- A fortnight of Himalayan touring and sightseeing in Nepal
- Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan
- Sunrise over the Himalaya from Nargakot and Sarankot
- Experience Nepalese village life at Bandipur
- Take the cable-car to Manakamana Temple
Offering the best of Nepal without trekking or camping, we begin this discovery holiday with 2 days of exploration amongst the temples and market streets of Kathmandu and the nearby UNESCO heritage site of Bhaktapur. An overnight at Nagarkot on the rim of the Kathmandu Valley then gives us the chance to enjoy spectacular sunrise views of Everest and other Himalayan peaks. Next, we travel to the wildlife reserve at Chitwan for jungle walking, wildlife viewing and elephant-washing, before continuing to the lakeside town of Pokhara. Here, we can walk to the Peace Pagoda for sensational views over the lake and to the Annapurna range, relax on the shores of Phewa Tal and drive up to Sarangkot for another sunrise over the great Himalayan chain. On our way back to Kathmandu through the foothills of the Himalaya we spend a night in a mountain lodge high above the Marsyangdi River Valley at Bandipur for a taste of Nepalese rural life. A visit by cable-car to Manakamana Temple above the Trisuli River and a free day in Kathmandu, with optional Everest Scenic Flight, are the final ingredients of this classic discovery adventure.
