One-week Mount Toubkal Trek

Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel in Marrakech. Complimentary airport transfers are provided for clients arriving on this day. KE Land Only services begin with the evening meal at the group hotel.
Day 2: Leaving Marrakech after breakfast ,we drive to Oukaimeden and begin our trek heading across the Tiz N`Aaadi pass (2980m). Our descent leads us to Foussarou as we head to make our camp at 2500m, which has splendid views of the Berber village, Tacheddirt.
Day 3: Enjoying our first Atlas sunrise we make a steady climb to cross the Tizi-n-Likemt pass (3550m) and follow the Assif Tinzartto Stream to a camp below the Tizi n'Ourai. Altitude at camp - approx 3000m.
Day 4: A short climb of out camp leads us over the Tizi-n-Ourai (3109m) pass and descends to the village of Amsouzart (1740m). After lunch we take a well -paced ascent to the blue waters of Lac d'Ifni (2295m) where we camp close by.
Day 5: Today, we enjoy a long climb to the spectacular Tizi-n-Ouanoums (3650m) located between two of the highest peaks in North Africa (Toubkal and Ouanoukrim), before descending onto the Neltner Refuge for our overnight camp (3207m).
Day 6: Breaking camp early, we head for the summit of Morocco and North Africa's highest peak, Jebel Toubkal (4167m). A perfectly paced challenge, we can enjoy spectacular views across the Atlas Range before making our long descent to our gite accommodation in Ait Souka.
Day 7: We take a short walk from our gite to the hilly village of Imlil where we are greeted by our private transport for the drive back to Marrakech. Partaking in guided tour around Djemaa-el-Fna in Marrakech there is also free-time to enjoy this cosmopolitan city.
Day 8: KE Land Only services end after breakfast. Complimentary airport transfers are provided for clients departing on this day.
This holiday involves going to high altitude. During the course of your trip you will reach altitudes in excess of 3500 metres. This is not something that you should worry about; the human body is quite capable of adapting to a very wide range of altitudes, but it is important that we follow some simple rules in order to acclimatise successfully.
