Mountain Biking in the Philippines

Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel in Cebu. Transfers are provided from the airport to our hotel in the city. KE Land Only package services begin with dinner and overnight at the group hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast, we take aboat ride to Tagbilaran, the capital of Bohol. We then have an afternoon dirt-road ride through small villages and via paddy fields. We stop off to learn about the nocturnal tarsier at a sanctuary, before continuing our ride to our resort at picturesque Loboc River. Ride distance. 45km (28 miles).
Day 3: We bike through a forest of mahogany trees and stop off to visit to a butterfly garden. Then, a short but steep climb takes us to the top of a viewpoint, which has commanding views of the unique Chocolate Hills. After lunch, we bike through scenic rice terraces to our hotel in Sierra Bullones. Ride distance. 60km (37.5 miles).
Day 4: A hilly start to the day, with more scenic rice fields. From the top, we have a long descent, through villages, to the coastal town of Jagna. Here we take a boat to volcanic Camiguin Island and bike along the coast road to our hotel. Ride distance. 50km (31 miles).
Day 5: A day to explore picturesque Camiguin Island on our bikes. We have spectacular views of the blue sea and the green volcanoes wrapped in white clouds. There are lots of villages and beautiful old wooden houses and you should keep your cameras handy. Ride distance. 75km (47 miles).
Day 6: Today we have a well-deserved rest day, with the option of taking a boat to visit the Matigne Island Marine Sanctuary for spectacular snorkeling. Or, you could take it easy at the resort, or take a short ride to a 70 metre waterfall. A second night on Camiguin.
Day 7: Riding back to the pier, we take the boat back to Bohol and have lunch in Jagna. A coastal ride, with stops for swimming, takes us to the town of Baclayon with its old stone church. We then transfer across the bridge to Panglao Island and our beach-side accommodation. Ride distance. 60km (37.5 miles).
Day 8: After a relaxed morning, we cycle to visit the Bohol Bee Farm, an organic farm and restaurant. We have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea, then it's back on the bikes for a tour around Panglao. A second night on Panglao. Ride distance. 35km (22 miles).
Day 9: We transfer to Tagbilaran and take the ferry to Siquijor, an island with a reputation for magic and sorcery. We cycle to our hotel and can either take it easy here, or continue cycling to Cambugahay Falls, with its natural swimming lagoons. Ride distance. 50km (31 miles).
Day 10: A great day of biking, as we circumnavigate Siquijor. We will see Cang-Isok house and the St. Isidore Convent, as well as lots of local people working on their fishing nets and boats, reminding us how important the sea is to island life. Ride distance. 75km (47 miles).
Day 11: Today we have a short ride to the pier where we take a ferry to Dumaguete on Negros Island. We then have another cycle ride, followed by a ferry ride across the Tanon Strait, known for whale and dolphin watching. Arriving on Cebu, an amazing coastal ride takes us to Moalboal. Ride distance. 70km (44 miles).
Day 12: Our final day of cycling takes us across hilly Cebu Island to Carcar City, where we board our support vehicle for the drive back to the hotel in Cebu. In the evening we go up to 'TOPS' the viewpoint above Cebu, for amazing views over the city. Ride distance. 55km (34 miles).
Day 13: KE Land Only package services end after breakfast. Transfers to Cebu Airport are provided.
