Singalila Ridge - One of India's Finest Treks
By: Margaret Tyson, Wray, UK
The lodges were very welcome, especially the showers. The weather was particularly wild on a couple of nights and we were accommodated in a local foresters hut. The food was amazing; how the cook and crew did it in those conditions I can't explain. What I enjoyedd the most - Darjeeling: Toy train. The mists parting to reveal 'the' view of the Everest range. A sight never to be forgotten. Worth every uphill footstep.

I loved the food on the trek. I am not a good eater, but here I was having thirds! I loved the easy pace, the attention to the flaura and fauna. I loved the laughter and singing of our sherpas and trek team. I loved being with our KE folk who enjoyed the day to the full. I loved walking on ancient pathways. I loved the beauty of the mountains. Each day was wonderment. Since I had never been to India or trekked I was thrilled to bits with my holiday. Thank you to KE, for recommending the trip and knowing what a lady of almost 66yrs would enjoy!
