As a beginner trekker this was the right adventure to take on, easy and with some touring around towns and attractions. Palzer's exceptional guidance clearly stems out of his passion and enthusiasm for what he does. The slow-ish pace of the treks allowed us to interact with the local culture and also enjoy his explanations and interesting mountain stories. His tours were all very interesting (the zoo and mountaineering centre, the tea plantations, the Tibetan centre just to name a few) and his talks never boring. During treks he also always made sure we were all fit and well, well nourished and hydrated. Great trip leader indeed! Would recommend to everyone.
Staff waiting at arrival to Delhi and at Siliguri airports. The transport to/from hotels is adequate and so were the cars for daily travel. All staff was friendly and prepared. Must make a special mention to all the kitchen staff, who have prepared amazing dishes every day and provided us with the required nutrition and liquids needed during the treks. The camping gear was adequate for the environment and in good state. Not enjoyed Delhi as much, due to the short time available there. The day tour seemed to be too fast, and not enough time to enjoy the places visited.Dossiers and all online information is exhaustive and support and correspondence with office is good.

Pemba was very attentive to all and could answer all questions.
Trip good, but harder than expected.

I loved the food on the trek. I am not a good eater, but here I was having thirds! I loved the easy pace, the attention to the flaura and fauna. I loved the laughter and singing of our sherpas and trek team. I loved being with our KE folk who enjoyed the day to the full. I loved walking on ancient pathways. I loved the beauty of the mountains. Each day was wonderment. Since I had never been to India or trekked I was thrilled to bits with my holiday. Thank you to KE, for recommending the trip and knowing what a lady of almost 66yrs would enjoy!

The lodges were very welcome, especially the showers. The weather was particularly wild on a couple of nights and we were accommodated in a local foresters hut. The food was amazing; how the cook and crew did it in those conditions I can't explain. What I enjoyedd the most - Darjeeling: Toy train. The mists parting to reveal 'the' view of the Everest range. A sight never to be forgotten. Worth every uphill footstep.

My first trip and it was amazing. It was colder than it should have been at this time of year and the clear October skies were lacking after 11.00am due to thick mist but actually that didn't spoil the experience. The views at 5.30am were fabulous! Our leader and support crew were excellent, the food - I have no idea how they managed to create such dishes in the middle of nowhere with such limited facilities, even to producing a cake! A wonderful experience.
