The leader contributed greatly to the satisfaction of the trip. His enthusiasm for being in nature and for the area was evident. Everything was well organised, he looked after us well, and it was great things were not too regimented it felt we had a bit of freedom in the trip also.I heard about it through Green Traveller. I liked the idea of a challenging holiday. I picked the company as it suited my skiing ability and thought it would include a group of similar ability. I liked the addition of the dog team with other holidays did not include.

The holiday was fantastic! The mushers and guide were excellent. All the huskies were very well cared for.The mountain hut saunas were amazing, especially as one evening we were treated to a beautiful northern lights display from the sauna window.

Fantastic trip. Had a real sense of adventure and wilderness. Most days we didn't see anyone else on the trail and had to make fresh tracks in the snow. Huts were comfortable and the need to get water and wood added to the sense of adventure. I most enjoyed the great sense of wilderness and learning a new skill (cross country skiing). The huts were fanatastic.

I had an excellent holiday and will be back for more....
The husky teams were great. Jorg was an excellent leader, he built a sense of unity amongst those on the holiday in the way he divided the group for jobs, he offered encouragement and knew how to make us do more and also when to stop. He and Soren were caring about our health and remembered and checked on issues (even blisters!). Soren had a wealth of information about the location and stories to tell about the local area.
I most enjoyed the challenge, the teamwork and the scenery, and The Northern Lights were spectacular.
