Generally an excellent trip. I would recommend this to other school groups. The trekking was hotter than expected and we only really needed cold-weather clothing on two occasions. The vehicles and driver were of good standard. The drive over the Kanda La Pass was spectacular and was good for acclimatisation. The trek crew were very helpful and thoughtful towards the group. It was good to have a mixed group and the boys loved playing around with the trek crew. The sherpas watched out for the group during the day. The trek food was very good. I was glad that they had a mixture of Indian and Western food, this makes all the difference where frequently there are students who are not used to the spicey food and end up not eating much. Water was always available and it was good to have squash at lunch time. It would be good to also offer squash at night as the students don't tend to drink tea or coffee. Good to have chocolate snacks and mango on trek - very welcome.

You will be pleased to know that we had a fantastic experience in India and the Juniper Trust project at The Bhagsu Nag Primary School was great fun. I know that our boys and the primary school children found it extermely rewarding.

Excellent support from the KE staff prior to departure. Rob and Jo, the KE Leaders were absolutely fantastic in all respects. They showed great patience and stamina and had an awareness of our group needs. They also had a good sense of humour and were easy to work with. The Markha School and Lingshed projects were very satisfying. The trek was superb, assisted by wonderful trek crew. KE adventures high level of professionalism on every front allowed us the freedom to create an unforgettable trip which will live long in the memory of the students and more importantly influence them as people in their lives beyond school. A hugely enriching experience for staff and pupils alike.
