A passport with at least 6 months remaining validity is required, together with a Single Entry Uzbekistan Visa (15 days recommended).
UK Passport holders
For convenience, we recommend that you make your application through a visa-processing agency such as Travcour www.travcour.com. If you make it clear on your application that you are travelling with KE, you will obtain a £5 discount off the Travcour service charge. Visas can also be obtained direct from the Uzbek Embassy. As well as your passport, 2 passport photographs and 2 copies of application form, together with a letter of invitation from our local agent which we will supply.
(April 2014) Holders of passports of any of the following list of countries do not require a letter of invitation
UK, USA, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Spain, Czech Republic and Switzerland
A Single Entry 15 day Uzbekistan Visa currently costs £50 (April 2014) and the Travcour service charge is £35 (with the KE discount) plus the return postage cost of around £7. Couples will only need to pay this postage charge once.
You can apply for your Uzbekistan visa 3 months before your date of travel. Processing of visa applications may take up to 10 working days
Important when asked your occupation on the application form, do not put anything that might arouse suspicion at the Uzbekistan Consulate eg. photographer, writer, journalist, military, government, police etc.
Other Passport holders
Application can be made to the Uzbek Embassy in your home country or via a visa processing service. Please consult the Embassy or visa processing service directly for visa fees and details of how to apply.
KE require a copy of the information page of your passport please forward this to the KE office at your earliest convenience. This can be scanned and emailed OR a posted photocopy.Print Page
