Stok Kangri and the Markha Valley Trek

The day in Agra was well worth the extra day. The trek towards the Nimaling Plain, and the walk from there towards the base of Kang Yatse were the best days' walking. It was good to be "in the mountains". I was impressed by the standard of the camp food - varied and good quality. An experienced leader who was also good company. Useful advice provided during a phone call to the KE office.

All information and advice I received via email or phone was full and very informative. I can not thank our leader enough for making the trip a once in a lifetime experience, and for passing on advice and knowledge during the three weeks.

Tom was a huge asset with his knowledge of the region and cultures.. His knowledge of mountaineering and skills were a real bonus.

Excellent trip! The itinerary said there would be long days and some of them were - I really enjoyed it though and found altitude quite challenging at times (as I expected). I had a fabulous time on the trip and would recommend this trip and KE to friends and relatives.
