Great crew. The cook was outstanding! Great variety and wonderful cakes. Our leader, Jose was great. Nothing was too much trouble. He took a genuine interest in everyone's health and wellbeing throughout the trek.
I suffered a bout of altitude sickness and a loss of appetite a couple of days into the trek but that didn't stop me from moving on with the rest of the group.
I really enjoyed the stay in Leh before the trek began which coincided with the Ladakh festival. Also the trek through the Marka Valley and a great group of people and excellent leader.
Unfortunately we didn't summit Stok Kangri due to adverse weather conditions. It must have been very difficult for Jose to make the final decision not to attempt the summit and I am sure many in the group were disappointed but I would fully support his decision and in any case it meant that we had an extra day in wonderful Leh before leaving for Delhi!
I have been on several treks/climbs with KE and have always had a great time. Very well organised with good itineraries and excellent leaders and support crews. Excellent trip, thanks.

The day in Agra was well worth the extra day. The trek towards the Nimaling Plain, and the walk from there towards the base of Kang Yatse were the best days' walking. It was good to be "in the mountains". I was impressed by the standard of the camp food - varied and good quality. An experienced leader who was also good company. Useful advice provided during a phone call to the KE office.

All information and advice I received via email or phone was full and very informative. I can not thank our leader enough for making the trip a once in a lifetime experience, and for passing on advice and knowledge during the three weeks.

Tom was a huge asset with his knowledge of the region and cultures.. His knowledge of mountaineering and skills were a real bonus.

Excellent trip! The itinerary said there would be long days and some of them were - I really enjoyed it though and found altitude quite challenging at times (as I expected). I had a fabulous time on the trip and would recommend this trip and KE to friends and relatives.

seamless is a word I will be using a lot. Rimo are just the best. Tash, the head sirdar, is a great guy, wicked humour and tireless. Mr Sangram (the head cook) its not often you come back from a trek heavier than you went !! how do you do ribs in batter at 4000 meters on three propane burners ! and crispy noodles with a fried egg on chilli vegetables just amazing. Jo Chaffer, what can I say.. tireless, patient, encouraging, very skilled, her attention to detail was amazing, great local knowledge ! my best leader yet and I have helped run a couple of trips myself !! This was my first KE experience and I am now a total convert. Where other companies do ok, this was how it should be done. Again, that word seamless. It appeared effortless which means everybody is working really hard as a team to give that impression When running a remote trekking trip, it's always hard to tick all the boxes but with clever use of rest days and good management = 100 % success, which you did.

The hygiene that Remo staff put into practice was nothing but t he best. The quality of food that the cook provided amazed everyone. He even made us all a cake to celebrate our summit day and another as it was someones birthday. The standard of Remo Sherpas never faltered once. They was consistent throughout. The Sherpa is without a doubt a man apart.Something to aspire to.
Our trip leader arranged everything for us while in Delhi/ Ley and on exped. She liaised with Remo to proved a seamless time for the whole team.Everything from hotel bookins to airport bookins was fast and efficient. She always asked how individuals were and mantaind the healthcare of team members. Her experience in the field is evident and would be an asset to any team.

Stuart is the best leader me or my Dad have ever had, out of a total of probably 20 trips with KE and competitors. His overall enthusiasm, morale, knowledge, patience, skill and everything else was first class, and made that holiday, without doubt. Thanks, Stuart!
Most enjoyed: Views, local culture, trekking through valley, improving my mountain knowledge via Stuart

Excellent itinerary which met all expectations and allowed for really good acclimatisation. The support crew all worked well together and catered for all our needs always with a smile; I was impressed with the number of support crew/sherpas we had for the summit climb, allowing three groups each to go up at their own pace - giving everyone the opportunity to summit comfortably (which we all did).
