Toubkal ascent in winter conditions 2011 Stefan is a first class leader. He has a friendly approach and was helpful, encouraging and professional throughout. He has a wealth of experience and expertise. Lahcen and Mohammed, our local guides were first rate and went out of their way to be helpful. They were knowledgeable and friendly. The aim of our trip was to summit Mt Toubkal so we were delighted to achieve this. The conditions were tough - deep snow. We enjoyed our stay in Marrakech at both ends of the trip - especially the bustle and colour of the souqs. The last meal at Riad Omar was a veritale banquet. A brilliant trip that gave us the opportunity to experience a very different culture and exotic world only a short flight away. We went from the warmth, colour, bustle and noise of Marrakech to the cold, snow clad beauty of the High Atlas and back again in 7 days. Our ascent of Mt Toubkal in deep snow was tough - a real test of character -and reaching the top was totally exhilarating.

The KE leader, Rob, was excellent all-round. His relationship with the students and staff was superb. The students relished the physical challenge of the trip and were inspired by the warmth and generosity of the Berber people.

Hilbre High School 2011: Raised money to supply the village of Imlil with a pipe to access a natural water source in the mountains. Did day treks from the gite at Ait Souka and made an ascent of Mount Toubkal. Superb pre-trip advice, back-up and support for our bespoke 6th Form Duke of Edinburgh trek to the High Atlas. A first class set-up and organisation on the ground to enable a safe and successful summit of Jbel Toubkal. This was our second successful 8 day trek in the High Atlas with KE and the experience and lasting memories has left an indelible mark on our students. Excellent balance of trekking and project work. Great support from the office and senior managers in putting together a bespoke trek suitable for the aims of our Gold Duke of Edinburgh 6th Form Group. My expectations were high from a previous trip with KE and they delivered on every aspect of our trek

Lancaster Grammar Winter Ascent of Toubkal 2012 Mustapha, our local guide in Morocco, was superb. We couldn't have asked for a more personable, knowledgeable and careful guide to look after our school party. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He interacted very well with all members of the team. We had perfect weather conditions for the ascent of Toubkal so that was the highlight. The quality of the food was far beyond my expectations, both in Marrakech and in the mountains. The travel arrangements were smooth and clearly well arranged.

Winter Ascent of Toubkal 2012: All made it to the summit of Toubkal. A fantastic time and great weather. The kids loved Marrakech and the Souks. I can't speak highly enough of our guide, Steve, who was fantastic - passionate about the mountains and Morocco in particular. He got the balance right between being patient with the kids and giving them a no-nonsense rocket when necessary. Regards to all at KE and thanks for all of your organisation on our behalf.
