Our guide's(Kathy)organisation was spot on. No problems of any sort encountered. Top class mountain guiding and tuition along with Murray.
I was pushing my boundaries as had done trekking but not climbing before. Others on trip more experienced than me but really found things exhilarating - highlight was the top of the Weissmies. Great itinerary with accessible mountains worth the effort.

These was my first 'proper' Alpine summits and culminated for me with the spectacular stretch of ridge approaching the summit of the Weissmies. Traversing a snow ridge which is less than a foot wide in places with 1000m drops on both sides is something I've seen in mountaineering books but never imagined I'd be capable of doing. Being lead by guides who I had complete confidence in meant that I learnt a lot, and gave me much more confidence in my own abilities at this level.

As always, the information provided by KE was extremely detailed and useful.
The mountain huts were generally very good - in some cases much better than I'd expected. Catering for my vegetarian diet in the huts was impressive.
Kathy Murphy was an excellent trip leader - attentive and good-humoured. She was also a superb guide on the mountains - setting an appropriate pace and ensuring everybody was both safe and in good spirits. Julie Ann Clyma and Steve Hartland were also exceptionally good - we were very lucky to have such an experienced and professional team. The success of the holiday was in no small sense due to them.
I enjoyed every aspect of the trip. I probably got most satisfaction from climbing the Weissmeis and the Lagginhorn - as these were the most challenging climbs. Having said this, the two earlier climbs were good preparation and ensured that I was fully acclimatised. Even the 'transition' day walking to the Almagellar hut was great fun - especially 'playing' on the big boulder.
Having travelled to the Swiss Alps with KE before I had a reasonable sense of what was in store - and the trip lived up to my high expectations.

Weismies was incredible. Ad hoc climbing with the guides was a lot of fun. The variety of the trip was superb. The summits were unforgettable.
Great experience with KE last year, everyone recommends KE too.

Even though I booked at late notice, everything was sorted well before leaving on the trip. The hotel was very comfortable and the food was excellent. Golde was a very welcoming host and knew who we were before we even reached the hotel.
The pace of the course was just right and ensured that everyone made the summits. The routes offered a variety of different terrains and techniques, which made for a memorable holiday.
Kathy was a very patient and encouraging leader. Her calm approach and pace setting meant that we were able to reach all our goals. We always felt safe, even when faced with more challenging situations and trusted her judgement throughout.
The holiday exceeded expectations and packed in so many new experiences. It was a great introduction to what the alps and alpinism has to offer. Looking back, it was without doubt the best holiday we have had in terms of adventure and exciting situations.
