Tour of Mont Blanc Mountain Biking

Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel in Chamonix. A single group transfer from Geneva Airport is provided at 1630 hrs. You will meet your guide at the group accommodation, have a pre-ride briefing and have time to put your bikes together. KE Land Only package services begin with the evening meal.
Day 2: Biking through the Chamonix Valley to Le Tour, we take the Gondola to the top of the Col de Balme (2200m) on the Swiss border. We bag a couple of cable car assisted rides before heading down through the trees into Switzerland and our hotel in the pretty Swiss village of Trient. Ride distance: 30 km (19 miles) with 500 metres of ascent and 1100 metres of descent.
Day 3: After a short climb to the Col de la Forclaz (1527m), we descend 1000 metres to the Swiss town of Martigny and head in the direction of Val Ferret. Biking below glaciers and snowy summits, we reach La Fouly (1600m) beneath the Grand Col Ferret. Ride distance: 45 km (28 miles) with 1500 metres of ascent and 1100 metres of descent.
Day 4: Climbing to the Grand Col Ferret (2537m) we reach the first of 3 major passes on the Tour of Mont Blanc. We descend into Italy and the village of Arnuva. Depending on the groups fitness levels, we can climb to La Lechere before dropping down to Courmayeur on a superb singletrack. Ride distance: 45-55 km (28-34 miles) with 1100-1700 metres of ascent and 1300-2000 metres of descent.
Day 5: Today starts with a tarmac and forest road ride to Lago Checroui beneath the Italian side of Mont Blanc. A beautiful balcony trail then takes us to the Col de la Seigne (2516m) and the French border, before we descend to overnight at the Refuge des Mottets. Ride distance: 35 km (22 miles) with 1500 metres of ascent and 1100 metres of descent.
Day 6: We begin with a road climb over the Cormet de Roselend and a descent to the Lac de Roselend. We then follow a long jeep track climb to the Col de la Gittaz (2320m), traverse across to the Col du Joly (1989m) and descend on singletrack to Les Contamines Montjoie. Ride distance 54 km (34 miles) with 1900 metres of ascent and 1500 metres of descent.
Day 7: After a short tarmac descent, we climb to the Col de Voza (1653m) via the Chalet de Miage, a summer mountain village at the foot of the Glacier de Miage. Descending to les Houches, we arrive back in the Chamonix Valley and have a leisurely ride back to our hotel. Ride distance: 40 km (25 miles) with 1000 metres of ascent and 1200 metres of descent.
Day 8: KE Land Only package services end after breakfast. A group transfer to Geneva Airport is provided and this will arrive at the airport at 1100 hrs.
