You will be picked up at your Delhi hotel and taken to the airport for the flight to Srinagar. On arrival, you will transfer to your deluxe houseboat on Dal Lake. After settling in, there will be an evening shikara (local boat) ride on the lake and backwaters, amongst lilies and lotus flowers, with views of the surrounding hills and a visit to floating markets. Today, there will be a guided visit to the Mughal Gardens, which roll down the Zabarwan Hills and offer great views of Dal Lake. You will also visit the Nishat, Shalimar and Cheshmashi gardens. Day: 1
KE Extension package services begin with an early morning pick-up from our hotel and transfer to the domestic airport for the flight to Udaipur. In Udaipur we are met at the airport by our guide and begin our sightseeing tour of this fascinating city lakes and palaces in the desert, constructed centuries ago by Rajput Kings. We stay overnight in a hotel in Udaipur.
Day: 2
We have another early transfer for the flight to Jaipur. We have a full day of sightseeing in the famous 'Pink City' including the City Palace and 'Palace of the Winds' and the he Amber Fort & Palace. We stay overnight in a hotel in Jaipur. (B)
Day: 3
Day 3. Travelling by private car with a driver/guide we now drive through the colourful Rajasthani countryside to Agra. En-route we will stop to visit the 'ghost city' of Fatehpur Sikri. Arriving in Agra we check in to our hotel. (B)
Day: 4
A highlight of this holiday extension is a sightseeing tour of the incredible Taj Mahal and Agra's Red Fort. There will also be some time today for browsing in the local bazaar. In the late afternoon we drive back to Delhi to the hotel or airport where KE Extension package services end. (B)
