Combine a visit to the Taj Mahal with a relaxed tour of the vibrant and exotic state of Rajasthan, where tradition and royal glory meet in a riot of colours. This once independent princely state is renown for its magnificent forts and palaces and there is no better place to witness this than the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur with its Amber Fort, and Udaipur, ‘the city of lakes’. We have 3-day and 4-day extensions which guarantee a real flavour of India. All holiday extensions start and end in Delhi and include all accommodation, professional city guides, private transfers, trains and/or flights.
A 3-day tour visiting Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Jaipur and the Amber Fort. You will depart Delhi on the early morning express train to Agra where you have a full day's guided sightseeing and stay overnight in a hotel. In the morning you depart Agra by private car to Jaipur, stopping en route at the 'ghost' city of Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival in Jaipur you check-in to your hotel and have time to explore the famous 'Pink City'. The following morning you visit the Jaipur City Palace and Palace of the Winds. After lunch you leave Jaipur for the impressive Amber Fort, a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly situated on a hillside overlooking a lake, reflecting its terraces and ramparts. In the late afternoon, you make the 4-hour drive back to Delhi.

Day: 1
KE Extension package services begin with an early morning pick-up from our hotel and transfer to the railway station where we board the 'Taj Express' for the 2 hour journey to Agra. Arriving in Agra we are met by our guide for a sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal and Agra's Red Fort. We stay overnight in a hotel in Agra.
Day: 2
In our private car with driver/guide we travel first to the incredible ghost city of Fatephur Sikri before continuing our journey through colourful Rajastan to the famous 'Pink City' of Jaipur where we check into our hotel. (B)
Day: 3
We have a morning of sightseeing in Jaipur including the City Palace and 'Palace of the Winds'. Driving out of Jaipur we next visit the Amber Fort & Palace with the option to ride up to the palace gate on elephant back. In the late afternoon we drive back to Delhi and are delivered to our hotel or the airport where KE Extension package services end. (B)

This 4-day tour visits several of the most important cities and sights in Rajasthan, including Agra and the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, Jaipur and the Amber Fort, and Udaipur, said to be the most beautiful city in Rajasthan. On the first day of the tour you transfer to the airport for an early morning flight to Udaipur. After checking into your hotel you have a full day of guided sightseeing including the City Palace and Jagdish Temple. We suggest you have a relaxing lunch at the City Palace or at one of the cafes on the lake front, overlooking the Lake Palace. The following morning you transfer to the airport for the flight to Jaipur, check into your hotel, and enjoy the sightseeing tour of Jaipur and Amber Fort. On the third day of the tour you transfer to Agra and stop en route at Fatehpur Sikri. The sightseeing tour of Agra including the incomparable Taj Mahal, takes place the next day. Finally, we transfer back to Delhi by private vehicle.

KE Extension package services begin with an early morning pick-up from our hotel and transfer to the domestic airport for the flight to Udaipur. In Udaipur we are met at the airport by our guide and begin our sightseeing tour of this fascinating city lakes and palaces in the desert, constructed centuries ago by Rajput Kings. We stay overnight in a hotel in Udaipur.
Day: 2
We have another early transfer for the flight to Jaipur. We have a full day of sightseeing in the famous 'Pink City' including the City Palace and 'Palace of the Winds' and the he Amber Fort & Palace. We stay overnight in a hotel in Jaipur. (B)
Day: 3
Day 3. Travelling by private car with a driver/guide we now drive through the colourful Rajasthani countryside to Agra. En-route we will stop to visit the 'ghost city' of Fatehpur Sikri. Arriving in Agra we check in to our hotel. (B)

A highlight of this holiday extension is a sightseeing tour of the incredible Taj Mahal and Agra's Red Fort. There will also be some time today for browsing in the local bazaar. In the late afternoon we drive back to Delhi to the hotel or airport where KE Extension package services end. (B)
