Benetton's leadership is most impressive in a quiet, unobtrusive, thoughtful way. He has a lovely personality: kind, infinitely patient, hardworking, with a good sense of humour. His organisation and training of his support crew was impeccable, and this showed particularly on the day when his religion prevented him from working: there was never any problem with the tricky descent from Roraima, when one of the clients was struggling and personally supported throughout, and the rest of us were always aware of a member of the crew nearby. He was always available to answer questions and engage in interesting conversation. It was a pleaure to hear him talk of his people's history and way of life. We became very fond of him.

I can't speak highly enough of Bennette and also the support crew for the trek. He was kind, knowledgeable and very quickly appreciated the needs/pace of our group. His local knowledge for the Roraima/Canaima part of the trip was invaluable and made everything run smoothly. On the trek itself, all the porters were very helpful and the food was as good as you would find in most restauarants.

I didn't really have any expectations of this holiday, but it was fantastic - a great blend of trekking, sightseeing and the last couple of days on Los Roques was magical.

I liked the variety, the amazing landscapes, especially Roraima, the thrilling flights in the small planes, the great company, our wonderful guide, Roger, and porters, the food, the trip up river to Angel Falls, Los Pinos, and sleeping in a hammock. Such wonderful experiences. The fish at our posada at Los Roques was also excellent. The chef had been out and caught a fearsome Barracuda. We also had Red Snapper. It was also a wonderful surprise to get a T shirt at the end of the trek. The final camp meal, accompanied by wine was also very enjoyable. Eric was a wonderful host. I thought the food here was the best we had. Forget about being a vegetarian though! Miguel was really helpful and spoke excellent English. The loo tent was clean and new, and the system very hygienic. The best I have encountered. Already booked to go to Sikkim at the end of October. Thinking about the Huayhuash next year.
