Service and correspondence was very professional and your staff were very helpful in helping us arrange a couple of extra days in Hanoi and all that involved.
The trip was well set up and organised. All the support staff, drivers, porters and the boat crew did a great job and made us feel very welcome in Vietnam.
We had a great time in Vietnam and enjoyed every aspect of the trip. We will certainly recommend it to our friends. We loved the diversity of the holiday from hectic and chaotic Hanoi to the peace and tranquillity of Halong Bay. Another highlight was the opportunity to visit the hill tribes around Sapa and the Sunday market in Bac Ha!

I went with broken wrist in a soft cast. Little was made of it but I was kept an eye on and helped a lot with baggage etc. Most enjoyed aspects: Our leader. Walking in the cloud forest and jungle/ forest. We had great weather apart from one night camping. The walk was harder than i have done before but i was able and achieved the 3143m even with one hand! I was proud to get to the top and it was nicely challenging. Kayaking in halong bay was great with tunnels lagoons deserted bays and beaches. The food was great and service on junk was charming. The flora and fauna at all stages was wonderful and more info and knowledge about this would be great. I loved seeing sea eagles and a king fisher. I also collected some cowrie shells too. The bustle and busy pave ments and roads and street culture in Hanoi was also great. We learnt a lot of cultural and historical stuff too.

Very good programme.... Action packed and very varied, a credit to everyone involved! Well executed throughout. An excellent local experience that occurred with no hitches. Well done!
Tang our local leader is the best trip leader I've ever met! His arrangements and logistics were first rate. Very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him.
A brilliant experience I'd do again - and recommend to anyone. Fantastic! I most enjoyed the hill trek to the summit of Mt Fansipan.
I found KE through a Google search. I compared your trip dossiers with exodus and explore and yours was the best value for money and had the most activity. Well done KE Adventure travel! And especially to Tang our Vietnamese Trip leader!

The support crew on the trek were excellent and the quality of the food on trek and on the junk in Halong Bay was very good.
Thanh (the guide) was basically excellent. His enthusiasm for what he was doing was apparent and infectious and his thirst for knowledge and to convey it was a joy. He went out of his way to help us find odd pieces that had been forgotten (candles for a birthday cake, contact lens solution). We had a very successful and memorable trip. Main highlight was the junk trip. The jungle trek was a memorable experience.

I loved the holiday and it was made all the more with the specific tour leader and some of the group. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would once again have no hesitation in recommending KE Adventure. Excellent organisation before the trip and during the trip. Well done again!
Our local tour leader was excellent. He always thought about the whole group at all times. He considered the food requirements of the group. I was the only vegetarian in the group and he considered this at every meal. I also had health issues prior to the trip and on the trip and he ensured I was always well and capable and looked after and comfortable with the pace of the trek. He is to be commended on his talents and his enthusiasm which was relentless even in bad weather.
Your UK staff are exemplary in their attention both before booking and after booking and attention to detail.

Everything went like clockwork. My only problem was in interpreting the nature of the trekking, which though short (essentially 3 days on Fansipan) was more relentlessly upwards on difficult ground than I anticipated. I found the walking much harder than on the Picos de Europa the previous year, which has a similar grading. I didn't pace myself well on the ascent and found it harder than I should have. I think I get on better with a longer trek where I have time to settle into the pace better. Nevertheles, I was very satisfied with the holiday and overall thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an excellent way to get a good feeling for a very interesting country.
Apart from Sapa and the mountains, Halong Bay was not to be missed and with hindsight I would have booked the flight back a day later so as to be able to spend an extra day in Hanoi. The overall itinerary was good, porters were first class, both as porters and as regards the food produced. The logistics all worked extremely well and the local agent was invisible to us. Thanh was excellent; he gave great insight into Vietnamese history and culture and was great fun.
