This is a superb route through the mountains. It's a journey that is constantly entertaining and varied, passing through a great variety of landscapes from high glaciers to alpine meadows, from bare white karst to vast shale ridges and summits. It's quite possibly the most satisfying trek I've ever done, with plenty of good challenges along the way.
The area is uncrowded and beautiful, with amazing views on all sides, and very welcoming huts with more than enough space to relax and plenty of food every night.
I would thoroughly recommend it either as a first Alpine trek, or to anyone who thinks they already know the Swiss Alps!
This was my third outing with Kathy. She is an excellent guide and leader - I would say without hesitation the best I have ever travelled with. It's not easy to combine a diligent approach to safety and wellbeing with a sense of humour and a human touch but she carries it off brilliantly. I'd trust her judgement 100% in any situation!
All in all, it would be hard to beat this trek for a superb week away. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Huts good value, routing fantastic and pace well set by Kathy our guide. I most enjoyed the fantastic views and the feeling of exhilaration when peaks were summited as well as the group camaraderie.
