At KE Adventure we know how important it is for you to feel that you are in safe hands on your holiday. By definition, adventure travel will involve the unexpected, whether it be sudden storms, route diversions or transport breakdown. Thousands of you, having returned from your KE Adventure trips, confirm that KE leaders know what to do in all scenarios and take such situations in their stride, whether as rescuer, nurse, diplomat or mechanic. Much of the time any changes to plans are all sorted before our customers are even aware.
All of our Group Guided holidays are accompanied by a professional leader selected on the basis of his or her experience and leadership skills. Most of these leaders have worked for KE for many years and are guides or instructors with an unrivalled knowledge of the area, culture and environment in which they work. KE leaders are active members of the group and will really make your adventure travels memorable for all the right reasons – they will share their knowledge with you, encourage you along on a tough trek and really enrich your holiday. We read all the feedback we receive on our leaders and hold an annual ‘leader of the year’ award to celebrate their success.
Alongside the group leader, there will be a local support crew, which could be just a driver, or a complete team of guides, drivers, porters, mule-herders and cooks. The hard work of our crews, along with the fascinating insight they can offer into their own culture, is integral to providing you with the very best holiday experience.
Below is a selection of our leaders, unfortunately we can’t feature everyone but you have our assurance they have been personally selected by us and whichever leader you have will enhance your KE Adventure.
