Travel Insurance

It is a condition of joining any of our holidays that you are adequately insured. You will need to ensure that you are covered for medical and personal accident risks (to include repatriation costs, air ambulance and helicopter rescue services).

We also strongly recommend that you take out delayed departure and cancellation insurance, as all deposits paid are non-refundable. Please ensure the following:

  • Your insurance documentation must state that you are the named policyholder.
  • Cover must be valid for the entire duration of your travels.
  • You must be covered for Medical Expenses and Medical Emergency Repatriation in the event of illness or injury (including the deterioration of known medical conditions).
  • Your policy must cover you fully for all activities you’re planning on taking part in on your holiday (such as water-sports or trekking at altitude).
  • Your insurance documentation must indicate a 24-hour contact telephone number for your Insurance Company in case of an emergency.

If you are unable to confirm this information at the start of your tour, you will not be able to continue your trip with us.

Please ensure that your insurer is aware of your KE Adventure itinerary and agrees to cover the activities being undertaken.

Once you have confirmed your insurance you will need to advise us of your policy details by sending an email to or by adding the information in your My KE account.

Recommended Insurers

If you require travel insurance for your KE Adventure holiday and are resident in the UK, there are a number of dedicated policies available. We highly recommend Campbell Irvine as they are able to provide suitable cover for the majority of our holidays.
