5. K2 and Concordia

Spectacular walking among some giants

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This trip delivered spectacular views at every turn, rock spikes, towers and 8000m giants. The trip of a lifetime. We had great leadership from our UK guide and equally great support from our local crew.

Amazing Karakoram

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Trekking in the Karakoram is a raw and beautiful place. Every step takes you to a different skyline of beauty. The Himalayas are breathtaking. All of the local staff work tirelessly to make your journey a special experience. Our local guide, Musa, went above and beyond to provide an amazing experience - coupled with a smile, encouragement and genuine concern for everyone in the trekking group. This trek is not for the faint hearted. Long days and cold nights are on the menu, but when you return home the memories are there forever.

4. Trekking in Georgia and the High Caucasus

A fantastic trip in the Caucasus Mountains

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would highly recommend this trip. Georgia is a great country with lovely people, beautiful countryside, good food and a rich history and culture. The trip took us through some outstanding mountain areas with very good walking on good paths in great scenery. The walking was well paced with quieter days between the longer walks. Kote was an excellent guide, with very good English and a deep knowledge of the mountains and history. The support team was very good and looked after us well in the camps. If you can, I would recommend and couple of days in Tbilisi before joining the group to allow time to see more of the city and get over the travel.

It would be hard to beat this trip as a first experience of this extraordinary country. Fantastic mountain scenery and historic sites. I recommend it without hesitation.

2. The Ultimate Fann Mountains Trek

Life affirming trip!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you are thinking of trying somewhere unspoilt then Tajikistan could be just the place, visit before the crowds come! Uzbekistan is a wonderful contrast to the time spent in the mountains and a fabulous way to immerse yourself in Islamic culture and stunning buildings.

Fabulous Fann Mountains

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A lovely trekking trip in Tajikistan. Such an unspoilt and remote feeling, not meeting anyone except shepherds most days. Great support crew on the camping and trekking. Samarkand is a lovely extra visit at the end, well worth it.

1. Trekking The Transylvanian Alps

A great trip

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was a great trip! The hiking was challenging, but enjoyable. The mountains were incredibly beautiful and it was great exposure to a thriving hiking destination. The guide, Gabriel, was very knowledgable, helpful and good company.

Some of my favourite days hiking ever

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Moldoveanu trek, staying overnight at Podragu hut, offered two of the best days of hiking/scrambling I have ever had, in absolutely beautiful mountains (and sunshine). Our guide, Gabriel, was fantastic: extremely capable and companionable. I highly recommend this experience. The rest of the trip was good, with a balance of walks and sightseeing: maybe a bit too sightseeing heavy for me: I just prefer more hill time, but if you get the opportunity to visit the hide at the place where the rangers feed wild bears (an optional extra), I would definitely recommend going: a highlight of my trip.

Exceeded my expectations

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had perfect weather, a stimulating group and Gabriel is an excellent guide. The scenery and challenge of the trek exceeded my expectations and the cultural interludes were interesting. Observing the bears was expensive, but I'm glad I did it!
