Namibia Visa information

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct travel documents including visas for your holiday.

As of the 1st April 2025, all travellers entering Namibia require a tourist visa. There is a 1,600N$ charge (approx. 80 EUR, or 90 USD).

To check if you can apply for a visa on arrival, please see the list of countries here: https://eservices.mhaiss.gov.na/visaonarrival. PLEASE NOTE: some countries (incl. America) can only apply for visas at certain entry points, so you must refer to your own Government website for the latest information. If you are unsure whether you can obtain a visa on arrival or not, we recommend that you apply for it in advance.

If your country approves of visa application on arrival:

At the border, your guides will present the reservation sheet for the group’s accommodation and the intended exit point. However, you should make sure that you carry the following with you:

• A copy of your KE Invoice

• Your tour voucher (sent 10 days before departure) (Not applicable to VCMB clients)

• A passport with 6+ months validity

• A printed copy of the visa application form

• Sufficient funds for onward travel

• Proof of travel insurance

Namibian immigration has stated that credit card facilities will be available at border posts. However, just to be sure, we recommend carrying NAD 1,600 or ZAR 1,600 in cash for visa fees, when applying at the border as this is a new process and card machines may not yet be available.

If your country requires an E-Visa before travelling:

The Namibia visa form requires a full list of the accommodation booked on your behalf (Full Address, Including Telephone Number Must Be Provided), as well as the ports of entry and exit. Please contact the KE team on sales@keadventure.com to request a visa support letter which will help you complete the visa form for your specific departure.

In addition, You will need to carry the following with you:
