Nepal - Once is never enough

Written by  Kit Wilkinson - KE Product Manager - Nepal
We asked Kit Wilkinson, our Nepal expert why when you've already visited Nepal once (and we're sure you had a great time) why you would go back again. He told us "every part of Nepal is unique and each region is so different to another, it's so diverse. It's not a question of why you go back, it's a question of when".  Read Kit's guide about how you can experience different parts of the world's no.1 adventure travel destination.

Tom from the KE office was rather pleasantly surprised, and thrilled, to be sent on our Inca Trail to Machu Picchu trek this March, flying with Avianca. Back home, he's been regaling us with tales of epic trails, fantastic guides and stunning views of an ancient world - as well as one thing he hadn't expected. Read on to find out more about his experiences on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Get out and explore this May. Beat the summer crowds and cycle or walk in Croatia, enjoy a classic African Safari as it's now the start of the dry season, or trek along the alternative Inca Trail in Peru to the lost city of Choquequirao.

What do you want to get out of an adventure?

Come and speak to us face to face at the Keswick Mountain Festival, Cumbria, UK on the Friday 8 - Sunday 10 June. You'll find us in our KE tent where you can chat to our experts about our range of over 400 small group adventure holidays, plus you can enter our special show competition. Further details coming soon.

During the festival you can challenge yourself with a world-class sporting event, get inspiration from top speakers such as Chrissie Wellington and Mark Beaumont, then finish it all off with two evenings of live music from Melanie C, Peter Hook & the Light, and of course festival favourites, the Peatbog Faeries.

In February this year, Jayne from the KE Office swapped the snowy fells of Keswick for an adventure in the desert and travelled on our Jordan's Dana to Petra trek. This classic KE itinerary involves trekking on hidden trails and off-the-beaten track routes through stunning Jordan landscapes, before reaching Petra where an expert KE guide shows you the best way to explore one of the world's New 7 Wonders. Have a read of Jayne's blog to find out what she learnt on her adventure.
