El Calafate and Perito Moreno Glacier

Gaze upon an icy fortress rising 60m high and stretching across a vast 250 square km of Patagonian wilderness, framed by rugged peaks on all sides. This is the Perito Moreno Glacier - one of the few glaciers in the world still advancing.

On this extension, you’ll have a full day to explore a network of walkways and viewpoints, offering ever-changing panoramas of the immense 5km-wide ice wall at the glacier’s face. You’ll then take to the water on a Nautical Safari, weaving between icebergs that have calved from the glacier. From this idyllic base, you’ll set out on two of the region’s most spectacular hikes. Trek to Laguna de los Tres for that classic, postcard-perfect view of Fitz Roy and explore Laguna Torre, where the dramatic spires of Cerro Torre rise above a glacial lake.

This is a place to explore by land and water. Paddle through quiet inlets in inflatable canoes, cruise along the legendary Beagle Channel and hike hidden trails far from the crowds. Visit Gable Island, dotted with beaver dams and rich in wildlife and keep watch for seabirds, sea lions and even penguins on Martillo Island. Every day brings a new perspective on this untamed corner of the world.

Iguazu Falls

Stand beneath the thundering Iguazu Falls, one of the world’s most spectacular waterfall systems, straddling the Brazil-Argentina border. Spanning an incredible 3 km across the edge of the Parana Plateau, the falls consist of between 150-300 cascades, dominated by the dramatic chasm of Devil’s Throat, plunging 80m below. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Iguazu is a true natural wonder.

This extension gives you the chance to experience the falls from both sides of the border. On the Argentinian side, wander along paths that weave in, out and between the cascades, feeling the spray on your face and the roar in your chest. On the Brazilian side, take a step back to view the falls in their full glory, gaining a sweeping perspective of this magnificent spectacle.

Easter Island, or Rapa Nui to its native inhabitants, is a living open-air museum, a vast National Park filled with archaeological treasures and stunning landscapes. The island is famed for its iconic moai - towering stone statues that stand as enduring symbols of Rapa Nui’s rich and ancient culture, with nearly 900 scattered across the island.

On this extension, you’ll visit Rano Raraku, the volcanic quarry where the moai were skillfully carved, marvel at the intricate petroglyphs of Orongo and trek up Maunga Terevaka, the island’s highest volcano, for panoramic views that stretch across the Pacific. You’ll also explore two captivating caves, each revealing unique insights into the island’s history and natural beauty.
