The Ministry for Tourism in Ecuador have just announced that the summit of Cotopaxi (5,897m), one of the world’s highest active volcanoes and Ecuador’s second highest volcano, is declared safe and open for climbing!

With its nearly perfect conical shape, Cotopaxi is surely one of the world’s most iconic volcanoes and we are delighted to be able to restore this volcanic jewel to our ‘Triple Crown’ climbing holiday for 2018. With an additional acclimatisation day now also included, why not make 2018 the year you summit Ecuador’s three highest volcanoes: Cayambe (5,790m), Cotopaxi (5,897m) and the giant Chimborazo (6268m)!
