Fantastic news for travellers to India
UK Citizens can now obtain an "e-Tourist visa" online, not only does this nearly halve the price, but it makes the process far quicker and more convenient for travellers. UK passport holders can now to apply and pay online via the Indian government's tourist visa website.
 
Travellers entering India on an e-visa must arrive at one of 16 designated airports, which include Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. For those wishing to visit a restricted area, you may still need to apply using the current process. Advice of whether you qualify for an E-visa is available on the Indian visa website. There is also relevant visa information available on our individual holiday pages on our website. The validity of visas will be 30 days from the date of arrival in India.
