NEW - The Juniper Trust Nepal Trek from Jiri to Namche Bazaar

Visit 9 schools repaired by The Juniper Trust after the 2015 earthquake, trek through the breathtaking beauty of the Himalaya, meet the children and teachers of rural Nepal and have your chance to give something back!

In April 2015 following the devastating earthquake in Nepal, KE set up a Relief fund which, thanks to the generous donation of our clients, had raised over £100,000 by September 2015. Working with the Juniper Trust, KE identified ten potential schools in desperate need located in the foothills leading to the Everest region and in October, KE Director Glenn Rowley visited several of the school rebuild projects as they were getting underway. The 10 schools are situated in areas that were worst affected by the earthquake, either between Jiri and Lukla or in the Sindapulchowk and Rolwaling districts.

“We are pleased to report that three of the 10 schools are now completed and the other 7 are very close to being finished. Unlike some of the larger aid agencies we have been able to move very quickly by using your donations directly on the ground in Nepal. KE and The Juniper Trust have made sure that 100% of the money raised, goes either to the materials or to local labour which also benefits the communities."
