  • Learn to surf in the Pacific at El Cuco
  • Horse-ride, bike and trek in the `Land of the Volcanoes`

Our exciting range of multi activity holidays are designed to show off the highlights of the regions they visit, whilst also including a variety of activities. With a choice of activity holidays both in the summer and winter, you will find a whole range of exciting and sometimes adrenalin-fuelled sports and other elements. You can raft, rock climb, horse-ride, cycle, kayak, hike and much more on one of our summer multi-activity holidays. Whilst on a Winter Activity Holiday you can try out cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledging, ice fishing and even overnight in an igloo! Details of all our winter holidays can also be found in our Winter Adventure section.

Multi activity holidays are as much about exhilarating experiences as they are about the landscapes and culture of a destination. You could be white water rafting in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, trekking on the slopes of an active volcano, canyoning down into the Dead Sea or Camel riding with the Bedouin in the Sahara desert.

The activities included are aimed to suit everyone from action heroes to complete novices. All equipment and training is provided, so no previous experience is necessarily required. A 'go-for-it' attitude and a reasonable level of fitness are however needed.

If you are looking for a holiday with a difference and want a new challenge each day, our multi-activity holidays might just be the adventure for you. You may even discover talents that you never knew existed!

This trip exceeded our expectations. It was a fantastic mix of culture, history, wildlife and activities (surfing, zip wiring and boarding down an active volcano). We visited beautiful cities such as Granada

and Leone in Nicaragua and Suchitoto in El Salvador. We learnt all about the recent political struggles in these countries. However, we all also visited Mayan ruins In El Salvador and Copan in Honduras. The trip is very relaxed and there are opportunities to swim as some hotels have pools and we were often staying at the beach. There are some long travelling days however the trip is so well organised that these days were punctuated by stops at interesting quirky little towns or volcanic crater lakes. El Salvador is a hidden treasure, we were often the only tourists staying at hotels and in local towns. The beaches in El Cuco were expansive with few hotels, the sea was warmer than the shower in the hotel. We released 1 day old turtles which was particularly memorable. During the course of the trip we frequently referred to our guidebooks which in my opinion were very negative about Honduras. We did not experience any difficulties on this trip, we went to local bars in the evenings and people were warm and welcoming. We felt safe at all times. Our guide Joaquin was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about everywhere we visited. He took us to local traditional restaurants and in Suchitoto we went to a bar which is frequented by rebels from the civil war which was a really interesting experience. He was kind and responsive and did his best to make our holiday memorable. We have travelled extensively and have been to Central (and South) America many times. However, if you are looking for a holiday which has a relaxed pace with a mixture of history, culture, activities and wildlife. I would strongly recommend this trip. KE have done a first class job putting the itinerary together.

brilliant, friendly and always cheerful a really credit to their country. The dogs were awesome keen to go and exciting when in full flow. We each had our own sleds for the 2 day safari and all coped really well. Snow mobiling was good if a bit too many drivers fully enjoy. I also enjoyed the downhill skiing and managed my first black. Jane went off cycling on bikes with big fat tyres and loved that. We also did some walking in the park. Got some awesome pics which I shall upload. practical points are, your case may get lost on transfer from helsinki so pack essentials in cabin bag, it usually turns up the day later. The trip from Oulu to Iso Syote takes 3.5 hrs ie 1 hour wait for bus to go and 2.5 hours to travel. Go to the hotel clothes store and get some boots and cold gear straight away to use whenever u like they are very helpful. Mark tour bag with name tag and make sure it's check through to oulu in London hope that helps it is a great trip and the food was brilliant.
