A life changing trek

My first trek ever in Nepal and all I can say is - it was a life changing experience. The whole trek from the start to the end was so well organised and catered for our needs. Our leader, Hiren Lama, is an absolute gem. His love and knowledge of Nepal made the trek even more special and helped me connect more with the people and country. A wonderful trek in a beautiful country, with beautiful people. I can't wait to go back again. Thank you KE for this wonderful experience.

Great accommodation, food and organisation

The price really reflected what we got and the organisation was perfect, especially on the ground by our guides. Each arrival, food, and tea was perfectly executed everyday. The guides were just perfect - knowledgeable, kind, caring, funny and always put safety first.

Our guide Hiren was just the best. He had so much respect for the mountains and the area and so much information to share. It made the trip so memorable and enriched the experience. He was so kind and patient and looked out for everyone really well. He was also very respectful to his wonderful group of porters and sherpas. I could not fault him, he looked after us so well and was very lovely to chat to.

Amazing Albania

Just returned from an outstanding cycling adventure through Southern Albania with KE. The brochure doesn't do it justice. The scenery is beyond beautiful; mountains, lakes, rivers, fields of wildflowers, the air smelling of honey! And so much fascinating history and culture to discover. Our guide Pano and support driver Aaron provided a first rate service and nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful and delicious. Albania is the perfect place to cycle! Highly recommended!

Outstanding in every way

Three features make KE Adventure an outstanding service for guided trips to exciting destinations. First, the trip notes and difficulty rating provide excellent details about daily activities and the effort required to participate. Second, the administrative support is courteous and helpful in arranging the ordinary enrolling and payments to the extras such as arranging for additional days. Third, the guides provide exceptional services. Tony, the principal guide, was attentive to safety and an enjoyable experience for the entire group (13 of us). Tony provided great stories that informed us of the history, geography, culture and other aspects of each day's activities. Tony had a great sense of humor and told wonderful stories about each location. Two other guides also provided outstanding 1-day service. Renzo led the group, along with an accompanying group of non-English speaking hikers, to the overlook on Stromboli. Renzo did a great job of "herding cats" by providing English and Italian narration at various spots, describing history, geography, volcanic behavior, weather, and other aspects of the volcano. Giuseppe guided the group on Mount Etna and showed a deep concern for safety. Giuseppe, like the other two guides, provided entertaining and informative information throughout the hike.

Great itineraries that mean I don't have to think!

Always friendly support from the Keswick team; consistently great guiding; great itineraries that mean I don't have to think! Our guide Tony was so kind to everyone, with a brilliant sense of humour, deeply knowledgeable, and having an infinite daily patience with questions / QR codes on menus. How he maintained his sanity and overarching gentleness of approach when we split the many evening bill(s) I do not know. He looked after everybody in the group individually as well as collectively, and made sure everyone achieved whatever they had hoped for from the trip, at all sorts of different levels. He even made sure we all had onward transport, and checked in our next day departures, even though technically his job was more than done by then. One of the very best leaders I've been lucky enough to have and I wish he could organise my life on a daily basis, it was so relaxing to be looked after so well and so entertainingly... !

Wonderful stay in beautiful mountains

Col di Lavacchio is a magical place to stay in beautiful and peaceful scenery. Jamie and Ailsa are wonderful hosts and Ailsa's cooking is sensational. Manuel was an excellent walking guide. The walks were scenic but only of moderate difficulty, consistent with the trip grade. Strongly recommended!

Hiking the beautiful, quaint areas of Tuscany

Jamie and Aisla were splendid hosts and were gracious and welcoming. The home and surrounding property exceeded our expectations. The hiking was challenging but breathtaking and walking down through quaint small villages in Tuscany was everything I dreamed it would be. Lastly, the food Aisla prepared with all the fresh fruit and vegetables from their gardens simply can not be beat. I would highly recommend this adventure for anyone seeking a perfect week in Tuscany.

Amazing Trip

This was my first solo walking holiday and I was quite nervous but I really didn't need to be. I was made to feel part of this amazing family and from the start, nothing was too much trouble. I have been on many walking holidays before but none of them with the bonus of body boarding, karaoke and wine tasting on top of amazing walks. As mentioned in all of the reviews Violettas food is delicious and plentiful. Each member of the family played a part in making this holiday memorable and great fun. I was also very lucky to meet three lovely women an eclectic mix that added to the fun, I felt supported and cared for at all times. I would gladly travel with this group of women again at the drop of a hat. If you are considering booking this holiday just do it you will not regret it. Lastly a big shout out to Alana, a beautiful and well loved member of the family taken too soon.

A special kind of trip

I've done multiple KE trips, but this one was special because of the opportunity to stay with a remarkable family at their beautiful eco lodge and get to know them while exploring the stunning Algarve ecosystem. The trails led to isolated pristine beaches where we could enjoy a swim before continuing our walk. The food at our lodging was outstandingly good. We enjoyed many stories and laughs with our hosts.

Five Stars for the Wild Algarve

I would highly highly recommend this 7-day guided hiking adventure in the wild part of the Algarve staying at the Eco-Lodge with Jon and Vio. I learned so much, hiked steeper trails than I imagined possible, learnt how to boogie board and ate the most delicious food!
