"Wonderful trek to remote Nepal! Our KE experience was perfect. Great guide, Ben Walker. Great Nepalese staff. Near perfect weather. A wonderful experience in all. This time of year be prepared for little local produce. The cook staff did a great job with minimal access to fresh produce etc. Their brand of curry is in just about everything, so if curry is not your favorite, ask ahead for specific possibilities. The trek is a hard one, with quite a bit of exposure here and there. Take their suggestion of getting into top shape prior to your trip seriously. As one needs to acclimatize to altitude, if exposure is not your thing try and find somewhere where you can "acclimatize" to exposure as well. Doing both of those will help you enjoy the trek and the views from the more serious exposure all the more! The tents were an issue for some on our trek. Understanding tensions on a tent to begin with will help. We had 0 problems with our tent! Realizing that due to space constraints the crew was not able to properly guy out the fly; and knowing how to relieve tension on the main tent structure helped us handle our own "tight zippers" with no trouble. Up above treeline be prepared for dust this time of year! We affectionately came to call it Dolpo dust. to KE... if you fail to publish this in 3 weeks, do we get to pick the wine? ;-)"

Ethiopian simien mountains explorer - Andrew from Taunton - 7 Jan 2016

"Fantastic Trekking, stunning scenery,amazing wildlife including being surrounded by a troop of baboons and a sighting of a rare Ethiopian wolf. Summiting Ras Dashen was a particular highlight as the sheer effort of a long days hike and a scramble to the top made it a true achievement and to be welcomed back to base camp by a village reception party made it all the more special. Incredible guides and staff lead by the incomparable Filemon and Djerba(?) along with an amazing chef, Casa and his assistants Banti and Santi made for an informative and enjoyable experience. To top all this off,I as fortunate enough to be joined by great fellow adventurers who made for a fantastic Christmas and New Year. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone"

"Wonderful exploration and discovery of NW area India which had 'called' to me. Was very well taken care of by agents Discovery India travelling as an independent after group booking was cancelled. Left feedback with them as requested before leaving Delhi regarding specific hotels/guides etc. Couple of glitches during the trip down to outside forces and totally out of control of KE/agents but taken care of wonderfully by the Indian personnel over there looking after me, both by the people 'one the spot' at the time and the team in Delhi which was constantly in touch with the local guides etc. throughout. Actually made the trip even more enjoyable and a real adventure! In most locations not was I the only western woman but the only westerner full stop. Felt very safe. Everyone locally was so friendly, treated me so nicely and I made memorable contacts and experiences. And to top it all was very healthy throughout - I only eat Indian food when there/which was great! I can't wait to visit India again. go back to India."

"A excellent winter week in Morocco! I really enjoyed all aspects of this holiday - an excellent winter week in Morocco! Food was fabulous, guides were excellent. It's definitely worth doing the second summit (Ras Ouanoukrim, 4089 m), a slightly more technical route with some scrambling, for amazing views back over to Toubkal. Worth taking a breathable bivvy bag to help with the condensation in the refuge. Also best to grab a bottom bunk if you can!"

Winter Wonderland Arctic Adventure - Hazel from CORSHAM - 28 Dec 2015

"A delightful family adventure with all the winter sports and Lapland experiences. We loved Camp Ripan, and throughly enjoyed KE's programme of activities. The hotel provided sledges, and all around the outskirts are lit marked trails, so in any spare time we could still have fun in the snow. The meals were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful, the cabins were comfortable. The guides were genuine and enthusiastic, and we particularly enjoyed the husky sled ride and the snow-shoeing. To conclude, a great way for a family to sample the delights of the frozen north!"
