October

Jordan is a Wanderlust Magazine HOT list destination for 2016.  Although generally very warm throughout the year, it's great to visit in the autumn as it is cooler in the daytime and temperatures drop to more manageable levels for trekking. You can experience a little rainfall in early or mid-October, but it make the parched countryside bloom again.  You'll see less crowds at Petra when trekking from Dana to Petra or whilst swimming in the dead sea whilst cycling from Dead to Red.

August

Listed as one of the HOT destinations for 2016 by both Wanderlust magazine and Lonely Planet, Botswana is a safari lovers delight. Although you can travel to Botswana at any time of year, August sees one of the best times to view the animals as it's the dry season so they congregate around the water sources. The evenings can be a little chilly but it's warm in the day and the skies are clear and blue. It's a great time to take the family on a wildlife adventure holiday or combine Namibia, Zambia and South Africa on a cycling adventure holiday of a lifetime.
