Otherworldly Landscapes

You’ve seen photos of Cappadocia and watched the documentaries on the Atacama Desert. Another person’s camera, however, cannot capture the real beauty and essence of these extraordinary locations. These are places for you to step into; touch the ground, smell the air and hear the absolute silence in these landscapes. Don’t leave them for someone else to enjoy, trust us to take you there on our handpicked adventures.

Hidden away in central Turkey is a magical world of underground cities, honeycombed hills, towering boulders, and "fairy chimneys”; quirky cone-shaped rock formations. Cappadocia is a mind-blowing setting for our two walking adventures and even a best-selling cycling holiday.

There are 36 underground cities in Cappadocia and Derinkuyu is the most fascinating and the deepest in Central Anatolia. This underground world sits at a depth of approximately 85m deep, and during all three of our trips you'll visit the city where you’ll find stables, cellars, storage rooms, churches and wineries.

Day 4 of our Atacama adventure is one truly to behold - start in the kaleidoscope of colours in the Arcoiris (or Rainbow) Valley; where mineral rich colourful rocks, whose stripes of copper, silver, jade, violet and everything in between give this place its name.

Next, you’ll discover ancient petroglyphs carved into a rock at Yerbas Buenas and finally finish the day camping in the Atacama Desert. Here you’ll have an unobstructed view of the night sky from horizon to horizon, to experience one of the clearest skies on Earth.

Who knew islands in such close proximity could be so dramatically different geologically? Lanzarote with its dark, moonlike Timanfaya National Park, La Gomera with its jewel green interior and cloud forests and Tenerife with both Spain’s highest peak and the impossibly steep yet astonishingly beautiful Masca Gorge.

We have a range of trips across the islands where you can walk, be guided or discover on two wheels.
